Logging into your analytics tool every morning is unreliable, you'll skip days, miss changes, fall behind. The data is fresh; you're not. Every meaningful change should reach you in the form you actually read: email. But you also don't want a hundred emails a day. The right pattern is per-workspace digests batched once daily, with granular controls.
Four things Alerts & email digests unlocks
Daily competitor digest
Sent every morning. One email per workspace summarising the previous day's tracked competitor changes by type. Skipped on days with no changes.
Weekly listing-analytics digest
Sent Monday morning. Last week's visitors, install clicks, completed installs, install CVR, with week-over-week deltas. Multi-app workspaces get one email with a section per connected app.
Drop alerts on keyword ranks
Every paid plan (Starter and Pro) gets a daily section in the digest with every tracked keyword's rank change from the previous day, no threshold, improvements and drops both included. Configurable per workspace.
Granular opt-out controls
Settings → Email preferences exposes a toggle per alert type: price, badge, visual, listing, review-spike, keyword drop, weekly listing analytics, weekly reviews intelligence.

The alert types
- Price, a tracked competitor's pricing changed.
- Badge, a tracked competitor earned or lost the Built for Shopify badge.
- Visual, a tracked competitor changed their main image, icon, or screenshots.
- Listing, a tracked competitor edited their name, tagline, intro, description, feature list, or feature tags.
- Review-spike, a tracked competitor's review velocity jumped significantly above their normal pace.
- Keyword drop (Pro), one of your tracked keywords lost meaningful ground day-over-day.
- Weekly listing analytics, Monday digest covering last week's visitors, clicks, installs, and CVR.
- Weekly reviews intelligence, Monday digest covering last week's review velocity, sentiment, and new themes.
Delivery model
- All emails are transactional, no marketing blasts, no newsletter sign-up tricks.
- Only workspace Admins receive emails. Members and Viewers can see in-app surfaces but don't get notified.
- One email per workspace per day max, the daily digest batches everything across all change types.
- Days with no events are skipped, no 'nothing happened today' emails.
- Each email links directly into the in-app surface for context.
Configuration
- Settings → Email preferences is the single configuration surface.
- Each alert type has an independent toggle. Default state: all enabled on sign-up.
- Per-workspace scope, your personal workspace and any team workspaces you Admin each have their own preferences.
- Opt-out anywhere: the unsubscribe link in every email also leads to the preferences page.
What's coming
- Slack and Discord webhook delivery, roadmap, not currently supported. Email-only today.
- Per-app-within-workspace preferences, currently preferences are workspace-level; multi-app-aware preferences are a roadmap item.
- Custom alert thresholds, sensitivity tuning per alert type is a future release.

Frequently asked
Who in my workspace receives the alert emails?
Only workspace Admins. Members and Viewers can see the in-app activity feed and analytics but don't get notifications. Most teams want exactly one or two people triaging changes.
How many emails will I get per day?
At most one per workspace per day for daily digests (everything is batched), plus one Monday email for each weekly digest type you have enabled. Days with no events skip entirely.
Can I configure which alert types fire?
Yes, Settings → Email preferences has an independent toggle per alert type (price, badge, visual, listing, review-spike, keyword drop, weekly digests). All enabled by default; opt out per-type as needed.
Do you support Slack or Discord webhooks?
Not yet, email-only today. Slack and Discord webhooks are on the roadmap.
Can I customize alert sensitivity?
Not yet, alert thresholds are tuned by default to catch meaningful changes without firing on noise. Custom sensitivity tuning per alert type is a future release.
